Adam Page is a curious stone collector who is settling into a comfortable retirement after losing his wife unexpectedly.  He finds an unusual stone which catapults him into a supernatural world of energy beings and time travel crafts.  The stone's errant arrival has caused anomalies in the time continuum, that if left uncorrected will cause disastrous changes in the course of history.  With the help of an energy entity named Zen, Adam must travel back in time and use the power of the stone to correct the anomalies before they permanently change the past and the future.  His hope of eventually reuniting with his wife in the future, gives him the fortitude to press on against insurmountable odds.

Adam and Zen are stone hunters from two different worlds who form an unlikely friendship as they work together and learn from each other's experiences.  Adam is at first reluctant to enter Zen's strange world but soon realizes that he must to save his future and the future of mankind.
